Results of Children's Story Competition

The new session of Erskine Writers is now well under way and we've been pleased to welcome another new member. The coming weeks will see plenty of opportunity for reading out work and finding inspiration for creativity.

This week, we were pleased to have the results of the children's story competition from Ann Burnett who had given us a very good session on writing picture book when she visited before Christmas. The results are as follows:

Second:     Millie and the Christmas Fairy by Kate Gordon
First:         Santa's Warehouse A-Z by Wilma Ferguson

Members who entered the recent Children's story competition were pleased to receive the results and written comments from our speaker of a few weeks ago, and subsequent adjudicator, Kenneth Steven.
