This weeks session saw our very own Marc Sherland deliver a poetry workshop to the group which explained how to write "Ekphrastic Poetry'' which is a vivid description of a scene or, more commonly a work of art. Through the imaginative act of narrating and reflecting on the "action" of a painting or a sculpture, the poet may amplify and expand its meaning.

This was yet another informative workshop for the group with an excellent online presentation from Marc including examples of poems that explained this type of poetry. There was a number of slides of paintings that the group were shown and then provided feedback on what they interpreted from the painting.

Thanks once again to Marc for hosting the session.
