End of Session Christmas Party

Members of Erskine Writers enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Christmas get together for the final meeting of the year. As you can see from the photos, the table was laden with lots of delicious bites to eat and members read a good variety of short Christmas themed fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

               

The group begins the new session on Tuesday 5th January 2016, when members may bring open manuscripts to read. We shall also be looking at story endings - an important part of any fiction! We always welcome new members to the group at any stage in their writing journey.

Christmas Party

Last Tuesday saw the final meeting of the 2012 session for Erskine Writers, where much fun, food and laughter was had by all at our Christmas party. The critiques of the modernised fairy tales or legends were handed out to much praise for the standard of writing and imagination. The photo is just before we had the food!

The first meeting of 2013 will be held on Tuesday, 8th January and we look forward to seeing everyone then. We wish all members and friends a joyful Christmas and a happy, healthy and successful New Year.
