Honour for Alanna Knight

Members of Erskine Writers were delighted to hear that prolific crime writer, Alanna Knight, was awarded the MBE for services to Literature. Alanna has been a long-time friend of the group and has adjudicated many a competition for us.

As her friend, crime writer Alex Gray, says: 'Countless writers ( myself included) have much for which to be grateful to Alanna. She has not only been a writer who encouraged others, she actually was instrumental in finding homes for other writers' work.'

Many congratulations to Alanna who looks wonderful on her visit to receive the honour.
