That's September gone already and we're well into the Erskine Writers' new programme with a couple of open manuscript reading days behind us and an inspiring day about writing short stories.
Today, it's the deadline for the Woman's Short Story Competition - maximum 1,200 words. This will be adjudicated by Alanna Knight.
We'll also be looking at inspiration for writing poetry, so get the creative cap on!
