The writers virtual meeting held on Tuesday 24th November saw the group deliver their pieces of work for the syllabus 'Clap for Carers'. We heard a variety of different interpretations from prose to poetry to an adaptation of the song 'Candle in Wind' from Brian. The contributions were powerful and gripping, with recollections what it meant to individuals. Kate brought smiles to our faces with her story from when she was a nurse. Donnie provided the group with another informative chapter centred on Alexander McGruther. Lorna had the opportunity to read here U11 chapter and critique.
Sandra reminded us to put our thinking hats on for The Anthology which we will look at in earnest in the New Year.
