The group welcomed guest speaker Peter McMaster at today's meeting. Peter is an experimental and interdisciplinary theatre maker interested in the intersection of performance masculinities, ecological sympathy and collaboration. He delivered a very hands on workshop on writing drama using text. Each member selected a theme and then had 16 minutes to write the text. Then each member teamed up with another colleague who had the same theme. The next task was to collaborate the two pieces in to one and then adding additional direction from Peter each duo read their compositions out to the group with feedback from Peter and the rest of the group. A very challenging afternoon but very rewarding.
Sandra has her book launch of her latest novel in The Lorimer series 'Questions for a Dead Man' on Thursday 22nd February at Waterstones in Sauchiehall Street at 7.00pm.
