Erskine Writers Meetings 31st January, 7th February & 14th February 2023

The meeting on 31st January was entitled 'A Bee in my Bonnet" which was to be an opinion piece of writing from the group.

The meeting on 7th February was lucky dip flash fiction. The members selecting a number of one liners and then composing a piece of no more that 50 words.

This weeks meeting held on Valentine's Day was aptly entitled 'All You Need is Love' members were to bring either prose of 500 words or a poem. We heard a diverse range of readings including funny poems, how two of our members first met and subsequently married. We also heard a very sad and touching story relating to The Enniskillen Bombing. We also heard an extract from Jeannie's Book 'As if I was a Real Boy' co-written in 2011 with her son Gordon. Sandra has now got her latest book 'Questions for a dead man' in print. Rob finished the session off with a very funny but true story of 'Robert The Driver'
